Do you know Your Blog Will Be Investigated Soon? Written by John Samples, this letter dated Febuary 10, 2009 appeared in American Spectator in the May 10, 2005 issue. This article/letter also appeared on the Cato Institute's website on May 11, 2005. Is this bogus letter akin to Alvin Toffler's Future Shock as it may be so overwhelming and inconceivable to accept as a factual reality already with momentum? Do you remember what it felt like to read this book? Or is it more like the fiction of Alvin Toffler's Third Wave?

Is there a chance that the future of surveillance by any number of government agencies could be forthcoming to the blogosphere? Federal Election Committee, Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, IRS, Homeland Security?
