Do You Know Your Blogger Rights?

Everyone who uses the internet needs to be informed of the laws of cyberspace, intellectual property rights, the new legal precedents in copyright laws and the the battles in debate now. The Electronic Frontier Foundation is a nonprofit group of passionate people — lawyers, technologists, volunteers, and visionaries — working to protect your digital rights. You can join to support their efforts, you can sign-up for newsletters, you can comment on their blog, you can comment on your blog, and you can edit and post from the site under the Creative Commons Liecense.

EFF is fighting hard for bloggers' rights. We've created the Legal Guide for Bloggers, we're litigating the reporter's privilege for online journalists, and we are working hard to defend bloggers' rights to free expression, political speech, and anonymity. EFF: Fighting forBlogger's Rights. If you're a blogger, this website is for you.

EFF's goal is to give you a basic roadmap to the legal issues you may confront as a blogger, to let you know you have rights, and to encourage you to blog freely with the knowledge that your legitimate speech is protected.
